The phone/tablet (phablets) Market in the EMEA region is expected to grow at a CAGR of 28.81% from 2014-2019, according to a new report from research firm TechNavio. This may depend on better applications and user environments for the devices, however Phablets are an attractive option for consumers who either do not want to ow both a tablet and smartphone, or who cannot afford both, as they offer the features from both devices, it says. Additionally, the introduction of 3G and 4G networks has resulted in a rise in the unit shipment of phablets in many countries like the Netherlands, Spain, the UK, Germany and France.
